These next two months are full of astrological activity and movement, and for many of us, it may feel like we’re on the merry-go-round. On 23 July we have a Venus retrograde to contend with, in the zodiac sign of Leo. This could involve scandal, or the entertainment industry – secrets will be revealed.   Notable Astrological Dates  ✧ 3 July – Full moon in Capricorn, 12.38 ✧ 17 July – New moon in Cancer, 19.32   Aries  Your planetary ruler Mars is travelling through two zodiac signs this month, switching from Leo to Virgo on 10 July. This means you’ll feel a real pull towards new health regimes, or structured routines in your everyday work and life. The planet Venus is also situated in your solar fifth house for most of the month, which will bring in new social opportunities.     Taurus Right at the start of this month, your ruler Venus makes a square aspect with Uranus, which is travelling in your own zodiac sign. This can be a confrontational clashing of planets that can disrupt the peace, and could mean that you need to be very careful of what you say to others around you. This month, your most pressing issue is your personal freedom.     Gemini The practical aspects of life are your focus this month, as you seek a better understanding of how to optimise your work-life balance. However, you have the Saturn retrograde to contend with in your 10th house of career and aspirations. Try not to get impatient with others – it will not serve you well during these next four weeks.       Cancer For the first three weeks of this month, the sun is travelling in your own zodiac sign, making this a time to reflect but also to push ahead with new ideas for the future. Your internal motivation is going to be your guiding voice. This is a perfect time to create a vision board for you to visualise and create something new.     Leo Both Venus and Mars are travelling in your own zodiac sign this month – at least for the first week and half. This means you can achieve a lot in a short space of time in early July, before you have to slow down and begin a process of structural thinking. This is a month in which the old way of doing things truly becomes a thing of the past.     Virgo This is a month in which it can feel like a lot is about to happen, but then it never quite fully manifests. The planets are teaching you the art of patience – they are all about to enter your own zodiac sign, but have yet to reach that point. However, Saturn transiting your 7th house allows you to remain grounded in your own body and keep on track with your aspirations.     Libra Your social life gets a heavy dose of Venus energy this month: it’s travelling in the house of good fortune, the 11th house, and is also joined by Mercury. This is a quieter month for most of you, with a feeling of repeating the same cycle as you have before. However, don’t lose faith: the tide is about to turn for the better over the next few months.     Scorpio This is a month in which you are busy with the opinions and emotions of others around you. At times this can leave you exhausted, but only if you don’t put some firm boundaries in place. The planets Jupiter and Uranus in your solar 7th house are stealing the astrological limelight in your life, which means you have to trust your own instincts more than ever.   Sagittarius Your ruler Jupiter is moving nicely forward in your solar 6th house, which governs health and service to others. However, it is the presence of both Venus and Mars in your solar 10th house that’s really making waves and may affect your motivations in regard to your career. Try not to go off in too many directions at the same time.     Capricorn The planet Pluto has gone backwards and returned into your own zodiac sign, which means that you are in the process of tying up any loose ends. For the majority of the month, the sun is travelling in your 7th house of partnerships, which is where the light is coming from in your life. Bask in it!   Aquarius You need to be more aware of your financial situation this month, since your traditional ruler Saturn is going retrograde in the money aspect of your chart. This is a good period to check that everything is in place for the future, in terms of how you manage your money and how you are earning from your work.     Pisces There is a strong emphasis on how you are communicating with others and expressing your ideas to gain insight this month. Saturn is retrograde in your own zodiac sign – this can make you feel that the world has slowed down around you, but can also allow you a well earned break from life.
