A Little Taste of Sorbet

I recently made a journey to Muswell Hill Broadway in London to have a detoxing massage and to have a look at what else “Sorbet” has to offer. Founded in South Africa ten years ago by Ian Fuhr, the company continues to grow by leaps and bounds. There are two new Sorbets in London, the other being in Crouch End. I was welcomed in to a beautiful bright reception area well stocked with a vast array of skin and hair care products. There was definitely a feel good factor and the quirky descriptions of the range of massages available added a little something different to the norm. I had a Knock Your Tox Off treatment which I have to say was Heaven from start to finish. A lovely full body massage where Seaweed based oils were used. The lighting in the treatment room subtle and gentle, I felt very comfortable and nurtured. I noticed that there was no clock in the room a positive as far as I’m concerned. That conjours up professionalism and skill on the part of the therapists who know the treatments well enough to not have to be clock watching. There is a wide range of skin care and beauty treatments also available. The overall experience was greatand please note that if you go and are not completely satisfied with your treatment you don’t have to pay. Based on my personal experience, I can’t see that happening too often. I left feeling well taken care of by people who truly love their work. You can find out more about the history of Sorbet from the beginnings in South Africa to now in The UK at www.sorbetsalons.co.uk.
