Every day your body gets exposed to numerous stresses and strains. And all of your bodily systems work 24 hours a day 7 days a week in pursuit of your wants and desires, but at what cost?
Self massage is the simplest way to give a little back and keep your body-mind functioning well. It is after all the worlds oldest form of healing and a natural instinct in most people.
I’m sure your natural response when you hurt yourself is to ‘rub yourself better’. Thousands of years ago Chinese sages also started using, exploring and passing on the most effective techniques in this form of self healing. ▪ Connection with your own energy
What is Chi Nei Tsang self massage?
The techniques of Chi Nei Tsang evolved in Asia during an era when few physicians were available and people had to know how to heal themselves. Even today many people have symptoms that modern medicine is not able to cure because a physical source for the problem can’t be found. So more and more, just like in the past, we are having to rely on restoring and activating our own healing mechanisms.
Early Taoists noticed that the energies of negative emotions, stress, and tension – all common in modern life – and the weight of past illness accumulate in the abdominal center, causing energy blockages and congestion. When this occurs, all vital functions stagnate and problems arise. Chi Nei Tsang is a method of internal organ detoxification that developed from these insights.
Chi Nei Tsang Self Massage consists of the techniques in the system that you can do to yourself. The techniques unblock the body’s energy flow by freeing up and clearing the abdomen and vital organs. Chi Nei Tsang Self-Massage is an excellent introduction to the wider Chi Nei Tsang system.
During the day you learn to diagnose how your major organs feel and how to de-tox them. This self-massage practice enables you to take charge of your own health and well-being as well as relieve common ailments.
There will be a talk and demonstration at 11.45 during ‘Taoist Practices Demo Day 21st October 2016.
Master Mantak Chia is teaching this on the 27th October 2016 as part of his week in London at the The Windsor Suite
